Our journey began with a passion for pets

My name is Ruby Rodgers I am now 17 years old and I founded Reservoir's Grooming Room at just 16 years old, straight after completing my GCSEs. I turned my passion for animal care into an inclusive grooming business, dedicated to helping every pet feel safe and comfortable. I specialise in grooming both dogs and cats, including reactive, anxious, elderly, and disabled pets. I've even worked with animals with additional needs, including deaf cats and pets with physical disabilities.

Making every pet feel confident and cared for

For me, the most rewarding part of my job is seeing pets who were once nervous become confident and happy after their grooming session. It brings immense joy to witness the transformation and to see the positive results reflected in happy owners. Every wag of a tail or contented purr makes all the effort worthwhile, knowing I've made a difference to their comfort and well-being.

A unique approach to calm and compassionate grooming

What makes Reservoir's Grooming Room stand out is my unwavering focus on patience, trust, and creating a calm experience for every pet, especially nervous, reactive, elderly, disabled, and rescue animals. My grooming room is fully accessible with ramps and electric equipment, ensuring ease of access and comfort. I provide 1-to-1 care, regular owner updates, and even film grooming journeys on TikTok, combining creativity with animal welfare and always putting the pet’s comfort first. Even at 17, while attending college and working in kennels, I continue developing my skills and pushing myself to grow within the grooming industry.

I took my cat to Ruby today and wow! Her service is second to none. She is clearly a true animal lover and such a kind, caring lady.

My cat is extremely picky about who she trusts, but she absolutely adored Ruby, which says everything! The extra touches she includes, like the video update and little accessories, are just adorable.
